Stamps: Autumn Prints (retired)
Paper: Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand, More Mustard, Basic Black
Accessories: Pop Dots
The same leaf is stamped on different color cardstock and cut out. It is also layered with ink as a background on the vanilla cardstock. A very simple card.
I used to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator now I just stamp for my own fun. But occassionally I like a card enough to upload it so as to share it with my friends. Hope you enjoy the cards and it inspires you to make some too!

An Apple for the Tutor
Stamps: Definitely Decorative (retired), Sincere Salutations
Paper: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Ruby Red (retired), Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Ruby Red (retired)
Accessories: Ribbon (retired)
This is actually an old card but I have always liked it. I decided to give it to a friend who tutors Ian and the other kids on their seminar day with Classical Conversations. It seemed appropriate since it was common to give the teacher an apple before class.

Red as a Poppy
Ink: Poppy Parade, Basic Black
Paper: Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Eyelets
This card is a copy of the one we made for the New Catalog Stamp Camp. I wanted to make a simple yet striking card for the ladies in my bible study and this seem to be the solution.
This looks equally lovely in every color I tried it in (Concord Grape, Marina Mist, and Pacific Point.)

Embrace Life

Paper: Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Kraft, Designer Paper
Inks: Blue Bayou, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Fresh Favorites II brads Medium Watercolor Brush, Sponge
This was a very basic card ... stamp the background stamp using color on color ink to paper. Stamp the flower from Embrace Life and then paint in the petals. Cut the corners and mount image to kraft paper, trim to size and mount on designer series paper for color contrast. Attach brads to hold image down and to coordinate colors between image and paper. Attach to card and your done.
