One of my Dad's 3 year old horses died this week and my Dad is taking it very hard.  Cody had a great personality and was incredibly gentle making him a favorite in the barn.  Jill swears that Rose (his mom) cried when he died.  This is a picture of Cody and Jill last Thanksgiving when he was just over two years old.

Note: I CASED'd the layout from SCS and I love, love this technique. It is not hard but takes a few minutes because of all the sponging and taping needed to be done for the individual bricks.

For this card the ink is sponged onto the stamp giving it the soft transition between colors.  After covering the stamp with ink, don't forget to "huff" on it to keep it moist before you put it to paper.

This card is about layering the inks really. We stamped the flower image first, using both the red and the green inks to color the petals, the leaves/stem, and the outline. We then stamped, very lightly, the background stamp over the flower. We used the stamping sponge to age the image and cut it down to the desired size. We then began to layer the card stock, wrapping a ribbon around it before attaching it to the card. Then using the template in the tool kit we punched three holes in the corner of the card with the crop-a-dile and then attached coordinating eyelets. Again, another simple card with a little bit of pop.
